Our dishes are prepared from the freshest hand selected ingredients. Everything is made from scratch, utilizing “pure” whole foods that are preservative and additive free. Additionally, organic products are utilized when available. We feature local lamb and Beef from Shaffer’s Abbatoir.

All menu items are prepared in the style of a healthy Mediterranean diet utilizing products such as olive oil, fresh herbs, and produce. Nuts or nut products are mentioned if used and can be left out if requested. As well, additional dietary restrictions may be accommodated upon request.

Our dishes are quick chilled after preparation and unless otherwise noted, are vacuum sealed for food safety and extended shelf life without loss in quality. Additionally, the vacuum bag packaging is a “cook-in” bag and is designed to simmer in water when reheating your food. This method of reheating retains all the moisture in the food and results in a product that looks and tastes as good as when it was first prepared. Plus, there are no dishes to be done, just a pot with water!

All menu items are available refrigerated or frozen. Because the food is quick-chilled and vacuum sealed, shelf life is greatly extended under refrigeration and indefinitely extended in the freezer without loss in quality. If you receive your order refrigerated, you should plan on eating it or freezing it within seven to nine days from the date on the package. Kevin carefully chooses recipes that will respond well to freezing and reheating, therefore don’t be afraid to store meals in the freezer for an “anytime, last minute dinner” as they will be every bit as good as refrigerated. The only consideration with frozen meals is to allow an extra 10-15 minutes of simmering time (they can be cooked in the bag from frozen as well as refrigerated); or, alternatively, plan to thaw the item in the refrigerator approximately 24 hours before reheating.
